The closed loop, one use per instance: pilot, rank, plan, run the preregistered arms, update the belief with the exact test, repeat. It never claims an experiment it did not run; every result holds its trials. The first experiment that moves the failure rate is taken through the minimal-set search and the reverse arm before anything is called CONFIRMED.
